Return & Exchange Policies


1. Request a Return Authorization Number from Christellas within 3 (three) days of receiving your order via the “Request a Return Authorization Number” link. The 3 (three) day eligibility to request a return begins on the day that our shipping provider indicates the dress was delivered to you. We ship all items with tracking numbers for this purpose and will go by what the shipping provider indicates as the delivery date to you.

A stated wear date is required for all purchases on Christellas Online. Under no circumstances will a return or exchange be accepted past the customer's stated wear date. If you choose not to indicate your wear date, the return policy is no longer applicable to your order and it will be considered a final sale.  “SPECIAL ORDER” DRESSES ARE NOT RETURNABLE.

2. Repack your item in the ORIGINAL BOX with the ORIGINAL PACKING SLIP.  Write your Return Authorization Number on BOTH the outside of the BOX & the PACKING SLIP.   PRINT CLEARLY. 

3. You must postmark your return within 3 (three) days of requesting your Return Authorization Number. YOU MUST EMAIL US WITH THE TRACKING NUMBER FOR YOUR PACKAGE ONCE IT IS SHIPPED TO US. You are responsible for shipping the dress back to us with insurance, tracking and signature required, as we cannot be held responsible for lost packages.  Email [email protected] .

4. Your item must clearly be unworn, unwashed, unaltered and with the ORIGINAL TAGS ATTACHED to their original location in order for your item to be accepted as a return.  The dress may not smell of smoke, dander or food. We have the right to refuse any item we feel does not meet these requirements. Please note that you can only return an item once. “SPECIAL ORDER” DRESSES ARE NOT RETURNABLE.

If we deem an item has been worn, the item will be returned to you and our return policy no longer applies to that order. Please note: We are not able to accept returns for undergarments, body shapers, jewelry or swimsuits.

5.  Once the Christella’s Returns Department has received and inspected your item, we will contact you through our official email notification that your return has been received and your refund has been processed accordingly.


Our Return Department processes boxes on a first in, first out basis. It can take 5-10 business days to process your return or store credit request.  If you are working with a tight deadline for your event and your request is time sensitive, we recommend that you use priority shipping with tracking for your return and EMAIL US in advance to let us know your package is coming back to us.  We will gladly work with you on a tight turn around schedule to insure that you have your Dream Dress replacement in time for your event!

You can receive a refund on all products except those marked “store credit only” or "final sale."  There is a 20% restocking fee for all returns for refunds. Restocking fees are deducted from your final refund amount.  All “final sale” items are NOT returnable.

You may elect to receive store credit on all products, equivalent to the total value of your product purchase.  Christella’s store credit is valid for one year after the date of issue. Store credit can only be used for purchasing merchandise through the web site, it cannot be used towards shipping costs. Please note that online credits cannot be used in store, and in store credits cannot be used online.  We have the right to refuse a return if the return instructions are not followed.

To use your Christella’s store credit, enter the code in the box called “Promotional Code” in the Check Out process. Click the button called “Apply Code” to see the new adjusted price once the code has been applied to your new purchase.

If you choose to exchange your item, all return fees apply and you will be asked to make payment for the balance due for the new exchange if the item you have selected is more than the item that you returned. All exchanges are final sale. All items purchased using online store credit is a final sale.

Christellas offers an easy pre-paid shipping label to expedite your return. An $10 shipping fee will be deducted from your refund or store credit amount to cover the pre-paid label cost.
